I believe the digitization of communication through formats such as social media and phones has had more benefits than problems. The instant global communication and ease of access to a wealth of information have developed the world so fast in so many ways. From a business perspective, it has allowed marketing and general efficiencies to be maximized to nearly the fullest that we can imagine as of now. Interdisciplinary perspectives show that this technology can also contribute to harmful addictions and the spread of misinformation. Despite being interconnected, crime, vulnerability, and mental health concerns grow with time.
