Many people like to say that digital tech, such as AI and social media, is making society far more efficient and interconnected. This is very true under many circumstances because productivity is, in fact, increased with culture, also showing great changes with time. However, concepts with behavior and decision making may be going down a worse path as human dependencies increase. While various digital systems can help, they can also hurt. Something we discussed in class to relate to this was whether AI art is really art. While some people think it just helps bring an idea to life more efficiently and creatively, others think art is the process involved in creating something.
