The Journey to the Digital World
The world we live in today has seen consistent adaptation of various digital technologies. This transition is only becoming faster and faster, which could benefit us, though also harm us in the long run. At the beginning of this digital transformation, we saw very basic though highly innovative creations such as the telegraph and Morse code by Samuel Morse. This introduced the idea of encoded information to send signals across a distance.
Alan Turing is someone very key to mention in this conversation. He laid the groundworks for the idea of computation, while Alexander Graham Bell later advanced communication technologies even further. Learning about these sometimes forgotten and very primitive developments was very interesting to see where this digital transformation really began. Joined together, these built a very strong foundation for the immense advancements we are seeing in AI and code-based creations in our world today.
