Abacus

Digital Clock

Jacquard Loom Punch Cards

A bead on an abacus is either either moved into a set position or not. Despite having digital like qualities it is not actually digital. It does nto process information automatically wiht binary or electronic logic. It is more digital-like than some others but it is used as an analog counting tool.

A digital clock, as stated in the name, is digital and uses exact numerical values to process and display information. Rather than a continuous physical movement like a clock.

The Jacquard Loom was used to create complex patterns and visuals into woven fabrics. The punch cards were used to act as a set of instructions as a very early form of digital thinking. There is either a hole or no hole.
